Angelina Jolie just switched up her signature dark locks and debuts new blonde hair transformation

Hair changes come and go, but Angelina Jolie switching up her signature brunette locks was not something we saw coming this Friday morning. For as far back as we can remember (read: the 90s), Miss Jolie has always had dark hair and hasn’t deviated from said classic look, that was until today. That’s right, Angelina Jolie is a blonde, people.
During a casual trip to the White House (yep, that pretty famous building), Jolie debuted her new blonde hair transformation. Unlike recent celebs that have taken to the blonde side – Ariana Grande and Kris Jenner to name just two – the Maleficent star has gone down a more natural route, as opposed to a more daring peroxide number.

As seen with her eldest son, Maddox (no, we can’t get over how grown-up her now looks either), the actress donned an effortless-looking honey blonde shade, keeping a slightly darker brunette shade at the roots, so the whole thing seemed more au naturel. The whole look *screams* summer.
Sure, it’s not the biggest hair transformation we’ve seen as of late, but considering the actress hasn’t deviated from the dark side of the hair world in years, we’re pretty obsessed

Sadly, Jolie is yet to confirm who performed this magnificent blonde switch-up, but when we do find out, you’ll be the first to know. As for now, this ombré blonde is going straight into our hair inspo folder for summer.
