Jennifer Lawrence leads the No Hard Feelings cast opposite a young star of musical theater and a handful of iconic supporting actors. Based on a real Craigslist ad, No Hard Feelings revolves around an Uber driver facing bankruptcy after her car is repossessed. In exchange for a new car, she agrees to date a couple’s awkward teenage son so that he can develop some social skills before he goes off to college. In an age when most comedies are sent directly to streaming, No Hard Feelings is coming to the big screen.

Set to be released on June 23, No Hard Feelings is a throwback to the kind of raunchy R-rated comedy that rarely gets made these days. Directed and co-written by Gene Stupnitsky, the filmmaker behind Good Boys and writer behind Year One, Bad Teacher, and The Office’s classic “Dinner Party” episode, No Hard Feelings has assembled a star-studded cast to bring its zany, colorful characters to life. Lawrence leads the No Hard Feelings cast, but she’s backed up by great supporting players like a Broadway prodigy, a former Saturday Night Live cast member, and Ferris Bueller himself.
Jennifer Lawrence As Maddie

Jennifer Lawrence leads the No Hard Feelings cast as Maddie, an Uber driver who agrees to date a socially awkward teenager in exchange for a new car. Lawrence first broke out with the role of impoverished teen Ree Dolly in the indie drama Winter’s Bone. She rose to further prominence playing Mystique in the X-Men movies and Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise. Lawrence won the Academy Award for Best Actress for playing widowed dancer Tiffany Maxwell in Silver Linings Playbook. She also played the title role in the psychological thriller mother!, Dominika Egorova in the spy actioner Red Sparrow, and Kate Dibiasky in the satire Don’t Look Up.
Andrew Barth Feldman As Percy

Percy, the teenage boy who Maddie is hired to date, is played by Andrew Barth Feldman. Feldman began his acting career as a teenager in musical theater. He won a Jimmy Award for his performance as Frank Abagnale, Jr. in a high school musical production of Catch Me If You Can. In 2019, Feldman played the title character in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway. He went on to play French exchange student Antoine in the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, starting with season 2, and made his film acting debut as Alex in the Netflix rom-com A Tourist’s Guide to Love.
Matthew Broderick As Laird

Matthew Broderick appears in the No Hard Feelings cast as Laird, Percy’s father. Broderick rose to fame with his turn as the titular high schooler in the timeless comedy classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. He later voiced the grown-up Simba in the Disney animated hit The Lion King and starred as Leo Bloom in the Broadway musical production of The Producers and its movie adaptation. Broderick also played David Lightman in the techno-thriller WarGames, Colonel Robert Gould Shaw in the Civil War drama Glory, Steven M. Kovacs in the cult classic dark comedy The Cable Guy, and Dr. Nick Tatopoulos in the 1998 Godzilla reboot.
Laura Benanti As Allison
Percy’s mother Allison is played by Laura Benanti in No Hard Feelings. Benanti is renowned for her live performances in Broadway shows. She’s best known for her Drama Desk Award-winning turn as Candela in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and her Tony Award-winning turn as Louise in the 2008 Broadway revival of Gypsy. She’s also known for her recurring roles as First Lady Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Sadie Stone on the musical drama series Nashville, and twin sisters Alura Zor-El and Astra In-Ze on the DC Comics series Supergirl.
Natalie Morales As Sara
Natalie Morales plays Sara, one of Maddie’s friends, in the No Hard Feelings cast. Morales is best known for her recurring TV roles as Tom Haverford’s girlfriend Lucy in Parks and Recreation, Detective Anne Garcia in Santa Clarita Diet, and Judy’s love interest Michelle Gutierrez in seasons 2 and 3 of Dead to Me. Her previous movie roles include tennis player Rosie Casals in the Emma Stone-starring sports biopic Battle of the Sexes, Dave Bautista’s character’s daughter Nicole Manning in the action comedy Stuber, and the voice of Miles Morales’ science teacher Miss Calleros in the acclaimed superhero animation Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Scott MacArthur As JimMaddie’s other friend Jim is played by Scott MacArthur. MacArthur is best known for his role as Jimmy Shepherd in the main cast of the Fox comedy series The Mick. He has also played recurring roles as Brock in the Peacock comedy series Killing It and blackmailer Scotty in the HBO religious satire The Righteous Gemstones. His previous film roles include Neil Kandy, a welder involved in trapping Jesse Pinkman, in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, Big John, one of the owners of Michael Myers’ old house, in Halloween Kills, and a drifter named Deacon in The Babysitter: Killer Queen.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach As GaryEbon Moss-Bachrach appears as Gary in the No Hard Feelings cast. Moss-Bachrach is best known for playing restaurant manager Richie Jerimovich in the Hulu series The Bear. He also played David Lieberman in the Marvel superhero series The Punisher, emotionally unstable musician Desi Harperin in the HBO dramedy series Girls, investigative journalist John Carreyrou in the true-crime miniseries The Dropout, and Rebel traitor Arvel Skeen in the Star Wars spy thriller series Andor. His previous film roles include Nikola Tesla’s assistant Szigeti in the biopic Tesla and Yuli in Girls creator Lena Dunham’s comedy Sharp Stick.

Hasan Minhaj: Hasan Minhaj plays a supporting role in No Hard Feelings. Minhaj first gained fame as a correspondent on The Daily Show but left in 2018 to host his own weekly political satire show, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. He released the standup comedy specials Homecoming King in 2017 and The King’s Jester in 2022, and played the recurring role of Eric in The Morning Show season 2.
Kyle Mooney: No Hard Feelings features a supporting turn by Kyle Mooney. Mooney is most famous for his tenure as a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2013 to 2022. He also co-wrote the script and played the lead role of James Pope in the comedy-drama film Brigsby Bear. Mooney has worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade since 2007, and played the recurring roles of Rory in Hello Ladies and Murphy Brown Fünke in Netflix’s revival of Arrested Development.
Jordan Mendoza: Jordan Mendoza has a supporting role in the No Hard Feelings cast. Mendoza is best known for playing R.J. Acosta, Jr., the driver for Leo Pap’s crew, in the jumbled-order Netflix heist series Kaleidoscope, and also provided various voices, including Carlin and Clark Garland, in the animated comedy series Maurice on Mars.
